Is Sketchup 2024 Mac compatible with Mac OS sequoia 15

It is now July 2025 and I was wondering Mac sketchup 2024 is now compatible with Mac OS sequoia?

The development of Sketchup 2024 was completed the moment Sketchup 2025 came out. So if it wasn’t compatible before, it won’t be. At least it’s not up to the Sketchup developers, so if Sequoia has changed, maybe Sketchup 2024 will run better on it…

sketchup 2024 ? as much as it was last year.

an update came that is compatible with sequoioa, they called it sketchup 2025. that one works with sequoia, no problem.

I have a memory leak problem with SU 2025 on Sequoia. It only seems to affect a limited number of people, so it may be hardware related.

SU 2024 (24.0.598) runs quite happily on sequoia.

What hardware are you running?
With the Radeon card I’m guessing an Intel Mac?

I’ve been holding off updating my M2 Studio…

I think you posted similar specs with a bit more memory recently…

Debating between a new top spec iMac or separate screen and equivalent Mac Mini… I don’t do 3D rendering work. This may be my penultimate purchase if I can get another six years out of the replacement.

That was my iMac machine. I put 64gb of Ram in it. Otherwise I think that is the same machine I have.

I’ve since retired it as backup, using the loaded M2 Studio now. I splurged and got the Apple Display with nano coating (I do a lot of photography as a hobby).

I only render tests, then send finals to ChaosCloud. I haven’t kept up on the Mac mini specs - but I didn’t like the iMac specs when I bought my machine last October - and the new M4 release was imminent so mine was on sale for a decent discount.

On the basis SU is basically a single core program I can’t see much point in splashing lots of $$$ for the max / ultra variants, unless someone can guide me otherwise?

My current 27" 5k Apple Display is awesome, I do worry dropping to the 24" 4K will look fuzzy in comparison.

I believe the 2019 iMac 5k 27” has the same pixel density of 218 PPI as the 2024 iMac 4K 24”.
