I have created named materials and added them to faces. I’m having trouble figuring out how to setup an attribute in a dynamic component to get the information in a report.
I am attempting to use the FACEAREA(“materialName”) function to compile total material area in a report.
The steps I have used without success:
Open Component Attributes, click to add custom named attribute, click window next to custom name (Material_Area), click “Functions” tab, find the Facearea function and click “insert”
I do not get the report results I would like, i.e., Material_Area column with material area totals.
