Help? I am importing a .3ds file into Sketchup, it appears the file is importing however the axis change slightly and the page is blank. Thoughts? Any assistance is GREATLY appreciated!!! 
Try Shift + Z
(Camera > Zoom Extents)
or in the Outliner select the 3ds group you imported > right-click on the name > Zoom Selection
