I’ve been fluent in both Metric and Imperial units for more than 50 years. To me, all measurements are just a number line and some labels. However, I found this article to be highly amusing.

1/3 of the countries where the imperial system is the official one, are(is) under a military dictatorship(kind of), so it can’t be the freedom units.
