If you were saving the file to a cloud service (OneDrive, DropBox, etc.) there likely is nothing you can do. Work locally. Backup to the cloud.

Are you using a cr4cked version of SketchUp? We see a lot of issues with unlicensed copies causing problems.

If you have a license you could update to 2026 and see if it opens. Sometimes this works.

nothing to recover, because it’s an empty shell. just 00s inside.

check your .skb file, of share it here if it also refuses to open.

Are you saving to an online drive / cloud service?

The last half of the .skb file is empty. No way to recover anything from it.
