How to flatten the bottom of curved extrusion?

Hi Guys,

I am new sketchup user. Just trying to figure this out. I am trying to model a boat shaped bed for my daughter. How do I chop off the bottom of the curved extrusion so its level with the ground?

Intersect Faces will make it easy to cut the bottom of your tug off flat. If you want to share your model, I can demonstrate.
