im new to this and cant find out how to do any drawings im trying to dew up a deck and stamp crete job
You would do that in SketchUp not LayOut. Start at learn.sketchup.com

You didn’t include the version number. Is it 2024, 2023, 2022, etc ?
Operating system can’t be sketchup pro. Is it Windows or Mac OS or another ?
Graphic card can’t be sketchup pro.
Have you installed SketchUp correctly ?
I don’t understand the ? On my profile that’s why I filled it out the way I did . I have a Mac I’m assuming I didn’t install it right I guess I’ll just hope to hear back from Tec all I’m trying to do is design jobs
So there’s a Mac operating system version on your computer. That’s what you should enter for the Operating System. Which version of SketchUp Pro?
We have no way to know if you installed it correctly. How did you install it?
Did you start a support ticket at SketchUp.com?
Follow the link I gave you last night and go through the tutorials that are available there to learn how to use SketchUp.
I didn’t in install any thing . Also I’m assuming just sketchup pro it was around 350
Then it should be no surprise that it doesn’t open.

The ? I used is called an interrogation mark and is used in many languages. It means that I am asking a question to know if you followed a standard way of installing SketchUp on your computer.
If you installed nothing, it may signify that you are using the free Web version of SketchUp but we cannot be sure of that unless you indicate it in your profile.
See attached image as an example of where you can get the required information. To obtain that image, you select the Apple menu, first choice “About this Mac”.
