How can I use hex codes for colors?

I don’t see a way of getting more than the basic color palette in Sketchup for Web. How can I do this? Thx

The materials selection is limited in SketchUp Free. If you go to SketchUp Shop you can edit colors using hex or RGB settings.

With SketchUp Pro you can create and save new materials or add more collections such as RAL, Pantone and colors from various paint manufacturers.

First off, if you are using the software commercially in any way, then you need to abide by the terms of the license agreement and use Shop or Pro. That said, there is a way to get custom colors via RGB, or HSL, or Hex# in Free by assigning your geometry to a Tag. The colors of Tags are adjustable via RGB.
