HELP!I need to add hair like texture to my sketchup model

Hi Sketchuppers! I’m trying to add hair texture( with V-RAY) to a plane on my model to make grass like texture but it won´t work… I thought it was because of the material I had applied on but I tried on a normal plane without materials and it won´t work either.

You are showing a model in SketchUp. Just to make sure… you do know that hair added in V-Ray will only show up in renders, right? You will not see it in the main modeling window.

If I remember right, hair in V-ray is added to a group or component, not directly on a face.
