Generate report bug in sketchupPro 2014

hello
in advance sorry for my english… i’m french
i’m trying to use the File/Generate report function with the uploaded model.
it doesn’t work… nothings happen… i have no window comming up at screen.

it is the same with all model i’m working with, and of course there are dynamic components in the models…

Hello Remy,

Generate Report relies upon the Dynamic Components extension.
The initial version of the Dynamic Components extension had a bug which broke Generate Report.
Make sure you have the updated version of the Dynamic Components extension.

Here’s the Dynamic Component Extension at the Extension Warehouse

i’m using cm units in my model.
in the CSV file, it seems that the datas are in inches.
is there a way of keeping the units of the model?

No. Generate Report doesn’t support metric units. It is a shame.

trial version activation, activation of the first try … hopefully

It seems to me that his LinkedIn registration is sending join invitations to everyone in his address book.

Yet one reason not to post to forums with an e-mail application.

I only post from my desktop
Thus my ‘mobile email’ capabilities are limited to the length of the mouse USB cord.

This Plugin fixes the Units issue in Generate Report… until SketchUp itself is ‘fit-for-purpose’…

Perfect Thanks for this plugin. Do you plan create complete report fixes? Now this work only for ENTITY VOLUME. Not work for another in report - this is still in inches:

Did you get the very latest version ?
It should convert all in to the desired units - for x/y/z and lenx/leny/lenz AND volume…
Can you post a sample SKP that fails on to the plugin’s sketchucation.com thread…
With same CSV outputs before and after conversion too…
User settings like the decimal-separator etc can affect the result… but I thought it’d been trapped…
