Ok, I tried EXACTLY this methodology & unfortunately unless I did what I described before, that is 1. launch Enscape render window, 2. add lights in nested group/component, it still crashes each time. So, I don’t know who, between SU & Enscape is to “blame” but they need to talk & sort this out.

Yup - I had a render all set to go and was showing a client (LIVE, IN THEIR HOME) how we would light their space and - KUH-RASH. This really is unacceptable and needs to be resolved immediately or I’ll have to get the FTC involved with an unfair and deceptive actions case.

AFAIK Enscape is not yet compatible with SketchUp 2024.
