Endless 3D printing, or The most expensive stove knob ever... worth it

@endlessfix would you be willing to share the files for your oven knob? I have the same range and the same knob broke, and ikea doesn’t seem to list the replacement part anywhere.

@yahelc, happy to. I also could find no available replacement at the time, which prompted my initial dive into the world of 3D printing. Now, four years later, I have pushed miles of filament through my two printers and learned so much about designing for and working with this process, often thanks to the guidance of others on this forum. Life has become busy this last year, and I have neglected to update this thread for some time, but the printers continue to hum away in the background, churning out fun baubles and practical solutions.

Here is the original .skp and .stl for the center burner stove knob, I hope it helps. If you mount a print of this come back and post a photo, it would be fun to see.

CenterBurnerKnob.skp (135.2 KB)
CenterBurnerKnob.stl (174.6 KB)

Well… It’s been a minute, quite a few practical prints and solutions have gone undocumented. Here a quick drain shelf for my sink. I do so dislike a soggy sponge!
