When I drag an item to another location on the same page, the item stays where it is until I let go of the mouse button. All that I see move is the blue outline of the drawing. This was not the case in Layout 2019 (I recently updated). Is there a way to see the drawing as I move it so I can line it up correctly?
This change to the way objects are displayed when they are being moved in LayOut was made to make moving things faster especially for users who have low-performing graphics cards like you list in your profile. Now your graphics card doesn’t have to try to repeatedly redraw the object as you move it across the screen.
If you need to place the object precisely you can still use the gizmo to set a snapping point in the object so you can align it with some other identified point on the page.
