I’ve just discovered SketchUp Free, which looks great, except that I couldn’t find a ‘follow me’ function. Is it there, or are there plans afoot to implement it?
I’m excited about having a properly Linux compatible SketchUp to work with!

It is on the 7th icon down on the left, second icon on the flyout menu.
