Hi I’m making a sci-fi scene in a circular room and I’d like to make a curved (not spiral) staircase in the room. It should only curve between 30 to 45 degrees or so. I’m on an iPad, so no plugins. Can anyone point me to a tutorial to make one (with a handrail as well)?
Once you learn the basics of SketchUp, you could normally create such a staircase with one of the versions of SketchUp (Web, iPad, desktop).

Thanks. Now back to the initial question: could you suggest a specific tutorial?
You’re welcome!
The first link is from Campus - SketchUp Fundamentals. Once you learn that, you should know how to use Arc, Line, Offset, PushPull, Move, Rotate. With those you can create that staircase.
So, instead of telling me I don’t know SketchUp well enough (which could be the answer to anyone asking any question in this forum), does anyone have a suggestion to a good tutorial on an efficient way to make a curved staircase like I requested?
It’s worth reading this whole topic, but you could start with the post that I made:
That shows a way to do a curved ramp without using extensions. It doesn’t include hand rails, but those would be a simpler problem to solve.
In the live stream for that model, Aaron did attempt to make the ramp, and you can see how complex it can get!
My suggestion was a bit easier.
Pie shaped tread. Push pull to thickness. Make component. Rotate + copy in plan view. Move them all up as required into position of each rise. Handrail you can do perhaps with Follow Me. Or with small segments and using the tread components as a guide.
