Curved ceiling with curved details

Hello! I’m a user of SketchUp since 2013 and I still consider myself as a beginner. I have trouble in making this ceiling for 3 years :grin:

How do you put curved holes on a curved ceiling?

You seem to be thinking along the right lines.
You just need to make the shapes you want and intersect them with the curve of the ceiling.
Super quick example…
