Color by Axis, close but not quite

I can see that in my setup equal (1/1000 of an inch or 0.0254 mm) is included, thus colored by axis. I’m trying to set up a good and simple example file that shows what I said above to be true. No, less than 1 inch is possible as long as its length is more (or equal) than 1000x the perpendicular difference between endpoints (mentioned in point a) above. [Screenshot 2025-08-31 12.49.22]

Here I’ve tried to catch all possible edge directions and lengths and hold them against SketchUp’s ‘Color by (red) Axis’ filter.

The drawing is not to scale but visualizes most if not all options there are for edges running from A to elsewhere. Not only in the red green plane! Here you see only the cross section of a cone+cylinder shape in this particular plane.

I corrected the image to include the right (mirrored) side which breaks the light brown segment into two. The missing part now is where other edges ‘Colored by Axis’ may show up.
