You can use DropBox or WeTransfer.
That’s a great idea bmike. So how do I do that? Does my post have an email address?? Thanks again.
when you upload to wetransfer, you can ask for a link.
then you can paste the link here.
Yes, I know. So how do I post a model if it’s 24 MB? I can’t use the upload function. It maxes at 16 MB. To use WeTransfer I need an email address, right? So what’s the email address of my post? Man, I’m getting dumber by the minute…
No. You can get a link to the file to paste into a reply here.
Do you mean like this? Here’s the WeTransfer link but I don’t think it’s working. Can you open it?

You’ve got 112 copies of an image which cannot be trimmed. Delete all but one of them and explode that image to make a texture to apply to the faces of the roof.
I did that here.
By the way, you should reset the axis and move the model close to the origin.
Also make sure you are using tags correctly. All edges and faces should be created and remain untagged.
Did this work?
Thanks DaveR. So I exploded the panel and I used the paint function but it only applied the color and not the ribs or the texture. Could you explain how you got the texture of the panel?
My guess is you exploded the component but not the image that had been inside the component. Sampling off the image would have given you just the pixel color under the point of the eye dropper. You need the roof image to be a texture which it becomes when you explode the image.
I moved the component containing all those images away from the roof and recreated the face of the roof by tracing an edge with the Line tool.
Then I opened the component containing all those images and deleted all but one of them which I exploded. It was still inside the component, though.
Then I opened the roof object for editing, got the Paint Bucket tool, tapped Alt (Command on Mac) to get the eye dropper, sampled the roof texture and then applied the texture to the faces of the roof.

Evidently you’ve done this image to texture thing before with the garage doors.
You are either in solid color (no texture) in your style, or you the texture is being projected. Right click on the surface and make sure it is not projected.
Or as Dave said.
OK, thanks. So I moved the roof panel group out of the way and put the triangle shaped roof hip back where it belongs. Then I moved the group back and now it appears under the triangular roof face. Strange? Anyway I selected the group, then selected the Curic Face Knife plugin and clicked on the triangle. Everything looks like it was selected correctly. Then I hit “trim.” It deleted the entire group. Any words of wisdom? Is there something wrong with my group? Thanks again. PS- Solid tools won’t work because the group is .jpgs and is not solid. I posted the updated model…
Thanks DaveR. I tried what you suggested but the roof seems to have lost some of the detail that the individual panels had. I’ll keep trying..
What detail was lost.
