Otherwise, it’s just dangerous as we might loose valuable stuff.
10 years later I came to post this very thing. I had this happen and luckily was able to recover it.
The delete pages is also next to the previous page button so pretty easy to accidentally hit when you are moving back and forth thru a document - which is what happened to me.
