I am using SU Make 2017, is it possible to purchase extensions.
Yes, however there are a few extensions that will only work on the Pro version, however they generally state as such.
Sources for extensions (there are others):
Thank you Julian, i am trying to purchase Instant Road NUIby Chuck Vali but not much success!
Huh!!! when i go to open the downloaded extension this is what i get ““%@” can’t be found”
i have no idea what this stands for? except of course it won’t open!
any ideas would be grateful, thanks.
Most Extensions come in an RBZ archive.
This has to be installed using the SketchUp menu item Window > Extension Manager ‘Install’ red-button…
However, as well as being access via the web and RBZs downloaded onto your computer, the Extension Warehouse can be accessed from within SketchUp and then an Extension can be installed without having to have downloaded the RBZ manually [it’s done for you seamlessly in the background]; the SketchUcation PluginStore hosts many of the same Extensions as the EWH, and several which are unique to it, it also has the SketchUcation Toolset which includes several useful utilities, and the ExtensionStore³ which lets you browse and Auto-Install Extensions and Plugins from its PluginStore, and also advises about available Updates etc.
A few Extensions use Pro-only API featutes, but these will state that clearly.
Many Extensions are ‘free’ [although donations are usually welcome], and before buying a commercial extension they will often offer a time-limited free-trial…
Chuck Vali has his own store site where his extensions must be purchased.
Thank you the information . . .
