What is the most common free animation extension to use for sketchup
Thx in advance

Depends on what you want to animate, in which quality, how much effort you want to put in to it, etc.
-
Most common (and easiest/simplest) would be Sketchup itself using scenes as timeframes and export to animation/video.
-
If you want a bit more options but like the sketchup style, you could try Fredo’s Animator. I havent worked with it, so can’t tell a lot about it, just that It’s made by Fredo, so it should be good. I am sure there are other options, just search for ‘animation’ in the extention warehouse or sketchucation website.

Want better and higher quality animations, movie like animations? Then you could try V-Ray which you can use since you already have a Studio plan.
Other rendering tools are for example Enscape [payed?], Twinmotion [free for non commercial use or payed for commercial use]. These might need some more time and effort to set up, but once published you might need to move to Hollywood.
Hope you’ll find the one that suits you best!
Thanks for your quick reply, I might try “scenes” first
On the Youtube you can find loads of tips&trick videos to animate scenes in sketchup.
Like this basic one with Aaron: Quick and Easy Animated Sections, or this one with Justin: Creating a Construction Animation in SketchUp (step by step tutorial).
There are to many to link to, just search for it!
Good tip, thanks
