How can I store data related to an object, component, or group, Im developing a study or a riverfront development and want quick access to ownership, zoning, dimensions, etc of specific parcels. Would be nice to be able to click onto an object and have the info pop up.
What version of SketchUp are you using? Please complete/update your forum profile.
You could add all sorts of data related to components via the Dynamic Component feature in SketchUp for Desktop. That information can be exported in a report and you can access it as autotext in LayOut.
Thanks Dave. I am currently using SketchUp online cost $119 a year but can upgrade to sketch a pro if it makes sense.
