We're Hiring! Technical Support Engineer

SketchUp is growing! We’re hiring a dedicated engineer to support you, our developer community. This position is open to remote candidates.

We’ve never had an official developer support engineer, we’ve just helped out as we’ve been available. We’re committed to providing more dedicated developer support so we can provide more timely and reliable responses.

Here are the key responsibilities for the new developer support engineer:

  • Front line support for users of SketchUp’s C API and Ruby API
  • Managing our support portal and answering developers’ questions
  • Actively engaging with the SketchUp developer community in our forums and other online communities
  • Creating and maintaining API documentation
  • Using Ruby to develop example extensions
  • Conducting reviews of Ruby extensions submitted to the SketchUp Extension Warehouse
  • Managing SketchUp licenses for our developers
