SketchUp Starting Crash

Hi,

I have a big problem starting SketchUp Make 2017. It always crashes when I start it.

I have a Dell XPS with the following system:

Intel® Core™ i7-7700HQ Prozessor , Quad-Core
Ultra-HD 16:9 Touch LED Display
32 GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Graficcard (4096 MB)

It just won’t start, please help!

When it crashes does it generate a bugsplat? And if it does, have you been submitting them with an email so Trimble can get back to you?

Most crash on launch problems reported on the forum are from

  • incorrect installation, especially not right-click and run as administrator for the installer
  • graphics driver issues (make sure your system is set up so SketchUp uses the right graphics)
  • extension or plugin issues. Turn off all plugins and see if SketchUp will run then.

Set SketchUp to use this GPU via Nvidia Control Panel.

If necessary, update graphics drivers.
