Sketchup performance on AMD 5300

Are there any settings on my pc that I can have a look out to “improve performance”
My system is as follows,
CPU = AMY X3500
Ram = 16 gig 3200
Drive = Solid stat M.2
GPU = Radeon RX5600 6 gig

I find that the program regularly “freezes” for a couple of seconds every 10 seconds or so.
