No, all I want is the Sketchup drawing to be above the imported snapshot of the floor plan. If it’s too high, I get parallax distortions which screw up my drawn walls and other measurements. It’s too early to extrude the floor plan, otherwise I could just extrude it above the plane of the graphic and that would solve my issue.

You can use parallel projection to avoid parallax.
