Any component with dynamic children is essentially dynamic. Pull the light out and see if it works afterwards.

They are not - just regular G components that are copied around.

If you can share that part of your model, we can inspect it to find a definite answer. Right now we are just guessing (though @ryan.moore raises a good question).

I’ve been working in a model today in which I’m scaling copies of components with the intent of leveraging the connection for creating small geometry. SketchUp 2026 is not making the scaled components unique. I wonder if you have an extension that might be doing that.

Sorry, that’s all I got. I can’t see this being intentional though, that’s the whole point of components in the first place.
