No leave the fuzzy logic alone. The file is just one mortised face from a 3d component I created a few years ago. The component had all its faces and looked pretty good to me. I’m guessing somehow I got the rotation out or maybe it’s something else. I’m going to go back and have a good look anyway. …

GKernan (4).skp has been fixed. I used the flattening routine on the 2 mortises. Explode the parts Make a copy and make unique. Turn into groups and re assemble the part.

I went ahead and found the errors in the original component and straightened them out. I redid the file and once again started hitting failure to write DXF. Hmm, I’m already running 1.0.7. Nothing with pins is working on my end. I’ll try to install it again see if that works.

Ian - when you do - open the ruby console before you try to save. Let’s see what that shows. Also - if you could post a file that fails to export then I could analyze it. Your NoPins.skp file worked perfectly. Perhaps you can add pins and send it to me. Do note that you should add pins AFTER group…
