Regards,

Thanks for the post @lddadmin, I am happy to add you to the database right now. By the time this post is live you will be all set to deploy the app if you have not already done so. Just make sure not to skip any steps as you deploy the app as that can cause issues later on.

In case you need deployment instructions, I have linked them in this post in video form.

Hi @CaseyG @sketchup5

I am experiencing this same issue, is it possible we need adding to your data too. Any help would be really appreciated as we are mid project.

Domain: hallschool.co.uk
Website: https://hallschool.co.uk/

We are experiencing the same sign in loop.

mvaoschool.org

Thank you!

Hi @gmcelmuray, thanks for the post. Unfortunately I can not get your website to load so I can’t verify you are in fact a k-12 school or equivalent. Additionally, the link you posted that appears to be your domain is not showing up as a domain and just links to the same place as the website link. Can you make sure that you have the right links in your post so I can verify everything so I can get you added to our database?

Lets Try this:
mvaoschool.com

Same problem in San Diego Unified. Domain is sandi.net. Cannot log in with G Suite or Microsoft. Help!!!

Thanks for the reply @gmcelmuray and thanks for the post @cperrine.

I just finished getting the domains you both linked added to our database so you should be all set, assuming nothing else causes any issues. Can you let me know if it is working now? If not, let me know exactly what you are seeing and I can try and figure out a solution for you right away.

We are having the same issue with some of our users. Several of our users are able to sign in without any problem, but one of our teachers just keeps looping through. Our domain is: pennsburysd.org. We’ve tried clearing all permissions under his account and then trying again without any luck. How do we fix this?

@CaseyG I am also experiencing this issue starting today at cps.k12.in.us domain
https://www.cps.k12.in.us/

Ah, thanks for the post @mcclearyt. if it is just a single user and they are on the same domain as everyone else, then it is a permission issue with their account and not a firewall issue. We would need to do some digging to get an answer as to what the issue is and how to fix it, but it can be done. I’ll go ahead and message @Tori_SU on this thread and will bring it up with her as soon as she is available to see if I can get an answer on where to look for the settings that need adjusted. Fair warning though, she is in a meeting at the moment so it may be a while before she has time to dig into this one.

As for you @kmcbride I have verified you are a k-12 school or equivalent and have added your domain to the database. I must say though, if the issue just started today and you have been able to access it before now, my guess is that something got changed on your end as we have not done an update to our firewall settings recently. I advise checking with your IT team to ensure that all is well on your end and if the issue persists, please let me know and I’ll see what I can do to get you up and running again ASAP.

Our school needs cleared also so we can use this function. lchsrailers.org is our domain. Thanks.

Hi @jkeithlchs thanks for the post! As I was able to verify the info I needed on your website I can get you added to the database right now. In fact, by the time this post is live you will be all set to deploy the app if you have not already done so! Just make sure not to skip any steps as you deploy the app as that can cause issues later on.

In case you need assistance with the deployment process, you can refer back to the post I made back in November of 2023 as that should still has a link to the most recent video guide as far as I can tell.

If you are still running into issues with SketchUp for Schools, please let me know as soon as possible and I will do everything I can to get you up and running right away.

Thanks. I have installed the app domain wide and opened up the access. It still gives me the loop to run around and try it again. Same for my educator who is trying to get in also. I can’t uninstall the app either to try to reinstall.

Not being able to uninstall the app is a new one for me. I can confirm that the app is working as intended on our end and that the database is up to date so I have done everything I can on our end from a technical standpoint. I’ll set aside some time to check in with Tori and the rest of the team to see if they have ever heard of that happening to anyone else.

In the meantime we can run through some of the standard troubleshooting steps.

First up, sometimes a bad cookie or cached file can cause this. Try clearing them and see if that helps at all.

Second, make sure that you are not blocking pop ups from the site as we need to use that function to log in users as they access the app.

Finally, if you are using a Google sign on, make sure that the app was deployed via a super admin account.

Let me know if any of that works or not and let me know if anything changes. Looping logins are complicated to fix sometimes as they can be a number of different issues so the more details we can get form you the better!

Hello @CaseyG I am also having this problem. And with school starting next week, I am locked out of all my projects. It started 8/28/24. I was working on the program in the morning, went to lunch and haven’t been able to get back in. I usually log in through google suite. My IT folks say it is not blocked at the district or building level. Kenosha Unified School District

Experiencing the login loop for our domain. We are a K12 school in Texas - Domain - shallowaterisd.net

We are also having the same issue with one of our users and unfortunately also happens to be the technology teacher desperately trying to log on to use SketchUp with his kids on this first week of school. Everyone else appears to be able to sign in without any problem, but he his stuck in a login loop. Our domains are bhrsd.org and bhrsdonline.org. We’ve already tried clearing cookies and cache for him, tested using different computers all to no avail.

Hello @CaseyG I am also having this problem.

Good morning,
I am a makerspace teacher and I am having the same problem. I am trying to log in, but without success.

Other colleagues on the same domain can connect, but only my account cannot connect.

Could you please?
