Set and get opacity of a layer

Hello,

I can see the alpha value of all the layer colors is set to 255 (opaque) even tough the opacity of the layer is not 100.

is there a way to get and set the opacity of a layer using the API?

Unfortunately you can’t get/set layer opacity… see e.g. here
