I have just watched Aaron’s video about component scheduling on YouTube. Looks like a useful feature.
Does anyone know if the schedule is responsive to changes in the model? If you swop a D1 for a D2, say, will the schedule update automatically?
the instance and attributes of the same definition will update (as D1 is an instance it will up date to D2), change the cost, or a dynamic attribute like material they will update on updating the the model in layout
but if the component is swapped, then the link is lost, it turns red in layout.
Components (dynamic) that have children (subs) that are swapped, where the data is updated to the parent will retain the link, so it is possible to resize, or change a door type and any complexity of data, provided the link to the parent remains
