What is the best way to remove unwanted templates from my templates windows system?
Use File Explorer to navigate to User/AppData/Roaming/SketchUp/SketchUp 2018/LayOut/Templates, select the template file you want to delete and hit the Delete key.

Good idea. No point moving all the old stuff you don’t use anyway to the new house.
