@orchiston Please do not highjack a thread about a copy tool with questions about moving stuff from one geometric context to another. Feel free to start your own topic.
I thot that might happen as I was using:
icon_path = Sketchup.find_support_file('Images/plus.pdf')
But apparently this cannot find shipped images within a MacOS bundle.
Most likely I gave the relative path incorrectly. I recall something about resource subfolders.
As mentioned in the registrar notes, you can place an image file named "copy" into the extension’s "icon" subfolder. For Windows it must be SVG. For Mac it must be PDF.
The “plus” image is just a backup stealing the one SketchUp uses in collection dialogs.
If anyone knows the path into the bundle for the "plus.pdf" I can make that change as well.
EDIT: Fixed see newer versions 1.3.0 and higher (below).
You are probably getting a sick face icon when an icon cannot be found?
Dumb AI strikes again. It should have known that in C Boolean true is 1 and false is 0. Apparently Fiddle cannot convert Ruby true and false ?
I’ve made the change and here is the update:
Example_CopyCommand_1.2.0.rbz→ See newer version below.
