I am new pretty new in SketchUp. At the moment I have the FREE version, but in the next months probably I will activate the Shop/Pro version. My question is: what will happen to all the models that I developed/am developing in the FREE version? Will they automatically be available also in the Shop/Pro Version?

Yes they will if you ‘upgrade’ your account. And if for some reason you want to take the pro version with another account, you’ll still have the possibility to download your models from one account and open them in another. (Or in a desktop version)
