It seems this kind of topic keeps recurring. It is just common sense and should be applied the entire spectrum of Layout usage.
- Keep your models small. Many ways to achieve this. Purge. Clean (extension). Use less materials (material replacer).
- Remove furniture or any high polygon objects, especially plants.
- If you can’t remove any furniture or high polygon (faces) objects, replace them with very low polygon or representations (wireframe).
- Buy SKIMP extension to reduce your polygons.
260Mb Sketchup File is really too large for anything, even I would give up.
