Is there a way to get additional paint options

Looking for a way to get additional paint/texture options when using the brush tool. The choices provided are helpful, but looking for more.

You can add materials and textures to SketchUp. Look in the 3D Warehouse, for example. Or you can import your own images to use as materials.

Are you talking about more materials or more functionality?
If it is the first, Dave has covered you.
If it is the latter, I would suggest thrupaint (part of fredotools). I will embarassingly admit I’ve just started using it only recently and it is a tremendously versatile tool. (you can paint through groups without opening them, paint the entire model with one click instead of surface by surface and many more)
