I cannot make separate areas on work path

Hello.
I made an Autocad 2D draw and import to the Sketchup 2022 Pro. I want to push pull some regions not all. But Sketchup cant see the lines. It wants line on lines and delete the areas.

How can i solve?

Select everything > right click > Intersect Faces > With Selection.
Delete the faces from the areas where you want them to be empty.

As what you have is a repeating pattern, you could finish just one section, delete the rest and then array the remaining part to recreate the whole.

Doing what Anssi says but creating a component of the pattern will reduce the size of the file and will make it more manageable.

Click in sequence on the scenes tabs of this SU file for ideas.
