Anyone got an idea of how to push pull on curved surface without (fredo 6 push-pull can’t afford it currently and trial is saying expired even though first time using it)
If you can, post your skp file here.
There might be a possibility with the Scale tool or other ideas.
What I’ve done sometimes is to make a copy of the surface you want to extrude, then with a free plugin like push line or the line extrude on the jhs power bar extrude the contours of the surface and connect them to the copy of the surface, the reverse faces of the copied surface and the faces created put the line extrusion if necessary and you’ll have a solid element.
Just using fredo6_jointpushpull is very good for your mental health.
I cannot get the Alt key to work on a curved surface in Make like the Video said.
What does your curved surface look like? How did you create it?
Are you holding Alt and use PushPull tool at the same time?
You need to hold the Alt key while using the push-pull feature.
I was wondering if that was the problem
This is why I like to drop into the forums often. I never knew this existed, even though the option is right there at the bottom of the screen every single time I use Push/Pull.
