How do I evenly distribute rectangular wooden blocks onto a curved path?

Here is an image of what I mean, doing it one by one is quite tedious and not very precise. Is there a method to distribute them evenly all across the path?

I don’t see an image but if the curved path is circular, you could make a radial array with Rotate/Copy (native function of the Rotate tool). If it isn’t circular you could probably use PathCopy or Component Stringer.
