Don’t worry folks. Once the aAIron bot is finished training on all our past streams, it’ll be ready to take over content creation.

There’s something you’re not telling us. I bet Aaron will keep making sketchup’s most popular videos but probably the format will change.

No!! Clickbait surely,?

I hope it’s just a format that’s ending, and Aaron has a new one ready to continue direct interaction with people. He remains SketchUp’s most visible image and connection to users, along with Colin in forum.

I don’t know this feels very much like “clickbait” to me. I guess we will all have to watch this episode live to get the details. Either way Aaron is probably one of the best things that has ever happened to SketchUp in the last twenty or so years.

Agreed!

Chopping onions already.

Darn you Aaron, darn you.

I will boycot any ‘aAlron bot’, there can be only one, the one and only Aeron!

No one is safe from AI, least of all us programmers.

I was just about to make a thread over here but this one beat me to it.

I would like to say thanks to Aaron who has made a beneficial impact on mine and, I believe, most sketchup users lives and we were lucky to have him on the front end doing what he did. I’ll miss him and I hope the best for him moving forward.

I’ve personally met Aaron once and I can say, he is just as nice and friendly and talkable in person as on video.

Can anyone elaborate on his new roles on the backend?

This is going to be a sad day indeed. I hope everyone who has joined a live stream in the past joins tomorrow and makes this one the most liked ever! Things to model: a boombox; the Antikythera Mechanism ; a Szilassi Polyhedron; a PC motherboard ; a moebius strip; an electric drill; a drill bit for the electric drill; Gort (the robot from When the Earth Stood Still.

Really committing to this click bait, huh??

Thank you Aaron. Over the years I’ve learned so much from your SketchUp videos and I’ll really miss them. One thing I’m particularly sad about is that you never modelled an Indian stepwell. Good luck moving forward.

Onwards and upwards.

The best of luck to you, Aaron!

You will be missed by many, I’m sure.

Best regards,

So many thanks @TheOnlyAaron so much learnt from you over the last decade and so much fun had on the live streams with all the banter. You will be missed by many and Friday’s will not be the same. Is this the end of live streaming all together or just you moving on to bigger things with Trimble? I hope there will be more live streams but they will not be the same without you in them. Whatever your future brings I hope it’s full of success, health and happiness Sir you are a legend and a great teacher.
