No I created something similar to my component library for details. I have custom components I created that I use for all my cabinetry.
Do you still have the 3 TV + wacom tablet setup , what are the benefits to have a unusual setup like the one we saw in that video
Makes sense - thanks. Have you used Sketchup to produce any as-built drawings? Our county building department requires as-built drawings for any remodel. I find this the most tedious part of my workflow - especially making sure the model is accurate enough to build from.
what is the paper size of the detail scrapbooks?
I could imagine using an extension such as Trimble Site Contractor (Extension | SketchUp Extension Warehouse) for getting topo data into SketchUp.
Yes I do. I like keeping my centered monitor for all my work - email to one side, misc. to others. Sometimes I like having LO to my left and SU centered or vice versa.
The tablet and pen are far more comfortable and faster since the tablet is mapped to the screen(s).
To bad that Lumion is so expensive, it sure does wonderful rendering. Unfortunate completely out my league.
I have it as 18"x28" worked best so they were large enough to easily see - I use 40" monitors (tv’s)
Sure, but Architect’s aren’t licensed to provide topographic plans so the liability would be huge.
you can try Twinmotion, is cheaper and also free for students, an I personally think it deliver a similar quality
It is expensive, but it is incredibly fast and easy to use.
