SketchUp is probably not the best tool for drawing schematics like this, though.

It’s been years since I needed to do that but there are a number of them that turn up if you do a Google search for ‘electronic schematic software’. Some of them will actually allow you to “run” the circuit to test it after you’ve drawn it, too. I had to do this stuff when I was in biomed school but never had need of it after I got out into the field.
