I saw one time someone doing a roof using the follow me tool to this type of roof but I forgot…
Does anyone know?
P.S: I know there is a way to create them by simple creating the lines where I marked in red, but I would like to know how to do it with the follow me tool too.
Draw the triangle that is the normal pitch, not the hipped one, then
- preselect the two eave edge lines (select the path)
- click the follow me tool
- click on the face of the triangle that is the roof section (the profile)
and then it all happens in the blink of an eye. Trying to trace out the path is possible with the tool, but mostly frustrating, so people mostly never use the tool that way.
