Dynamic components - hiding an object "if clipping"

So if I have a tiling like dynamic object, where it can duplicate in the x and y axis, but there’s an obstruction along the surface, rather than having to manually delete it is there a way of it being hidden/delete just wherever the obstruction would clip the component? (ideally it would delete/not copy the component but if its just hidden that would still work)


you could use onclick to hide a copy, however I find that using scaled materials a better method, just means a redraw after placing holes, changing shapes, the wall example shows this
