hi guys do you know how to layout columns in floor plan if it doesnt belong on the grid line? Thank you!
How are you identifying where the columns need to go? If I were doing this with an irregular layout I would identify where they have to go with either crossing guide lines or guide points or something and then insert the column components at those points from the Components panel. I would set the column component’s origin at the center of the column so I can drop them easily into place.
Or maybe you could lay out a regular array of them and move the ones that need moving afterward.
FWIW there are some extensions out there that can drop components at guide points which might work for you but you first have to be able to place the guidepoints.
