Change Default Material Menu pulldown in Tray

I would like to like to change the default menu to ALWAYS be “In Model”
I use sketchup everyday and everytime I open the program I have to change the pulldown in my tray to be In Model.

There must be a way to change this.
I have tried making a template, and making a custom Tray.

Help please.

It’s not possible to do this.
But in the Materials Browser clicking the model [house] icon takes you to the Model’s Materials with just one click !

Maybe that should go on a list somewhere for user experience improvement.
