I have 4 components in my list of components. There are only 3 different components on the drawing. How do I delete a component that I won’t be using?

I’m new to this so this may be wrong but it does seem to work…
I’m assuming you mean the ‘delete’ option is greyed out when you right click in the component window?
If so, place component on sketch, right click, “Explode”. You will then find the "delete’ option no longer greyed out. Then finally delete the component from your sketch.
This is a very old thread.
You could just click on the Purge Unused button at the bottom of the Components panel.
