Can I use an existing SketchUp model in OpenStudio?

Hi I need to model a building’s energy consumption so If I model the building as normal, can I use that in OpenStudio or do I need to model it differently? I am new to SketchUp so any help is appreciated.

Generally for energy modelling you build using extremely simplified geometry - often single faces for walls and doors etc. Nothing with any thickness

Thanks for the response, I have a 3d model already made, just walls and windows so far. With correct wall thickness, can I use that still or do I have to make the walls As thin as a single face?
