Model#axes can be used to find the currently shown axes in a SketchUp model. When inside a group or component this usually corresponds to the coordinate system of that group or component (the exception is when the user has moved them but not exited the group/component yet).
When not in a group or component these access can either correspond to the actual model coordinate system or a user defined position. When entering and leaving a group/component this user defined position is restored.
Is there any way to read that position when the user is currently inside of a group/component? I’d like to allow the user to align/snap to Model Axes (as opposite to Local Axes) and then I think it makes most sense to let “Model Axes” refer to the axes they have defined and will see when they go back to the model root, not the underlying coordinate axes.
