About the SketchUp AI Render category

I have been looking for a replacement to Shaderlight that I have used for years and thought after trying many others Diffusion would be the thing, but the result was awful, perhaps it will get better down the line. Here below the two image difference

@Arrowheadman ,
Which one is which… :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Guys, initially, I like it a lot. However, my like is based on alternative options at design conception. I would not use it to render a model that’s progressed into material selection as it would confuse my clients (model recipients).
I don’t like how materials skew way outside of the designer’s intent. Maybe adding a slider to respect material selection could be an option. Disclaimer: I opened an old model, nothing special, just for testing purposes. I like how it extended the eave overhang in the large gable, and I understand why it added cladding to the concrete, yet the output would be more to generate sales than create design revenue. I hope that helps.
BTW I do believe it is in keeping with the Sketchup ecosystem.
I’m also incredibly impressed by the amount of time it saves. The following took me 2 minutes to learn the tool and produce. 10 out of 10 for productivity gain.
